Is this the source of the Profile Spy worm?
April 4th, 2011 adminThe Twitter app Profile Spy is currently trending on Twitter by sending Tweets on behalf of users without their consent.
If you look at the Google real-time results for the term “Wow Profile Spy” you can see how this has ramped up in volume today causing it to trend.
However if you scroll back through time, you can find the first mention of the tweet on the 2nd of April:
If you check out the details on this particular Twitter account it appears it has now been suspended:
