Have a problem with spyware? PC running slow? I’ve found malwarebytes to be the easiest way to clear some of the worst infections.
The software is free to download and use:

It’s not 100% reliable to remove an infection – but I’ve had it find things that other leading vendors couldn’t. Definately worth a try if you’re stuck with a PC that is “acting strange”!

Just been working on a PC which was pretty badly infected. Malwarebytes managed to clear most of the infection – but after a reboot – kept reporting that c:\windows\system32\uacinit.dll was an infected trojan. It doesn’t matter how many times I tried to remove uacinit.dll, it kept reappearing after a reboot.

Well, it appears to have worked! Several reboots and several scans – the PC appears clean!

I’ve just had a PC where the installation just wouldn’t run? Clicking on the setup – you can see the process in task manager – but nothing appears?
The solution – rename the installer! Looks like there’s a virus on the PC which is looking for this installer and is blocking it! Cunning…
