New Release – Mozy 2.0 for Windows

Mozy, if you’ve not heard of it before is an an online backup tool from EMC which automatically backs up your files to the Internet.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 HTML 5 Pack

Shortly after releasing Dreamweaver CS5, Adobe have just announced an add-on pack to support the new upcoming standard HTML5.

The Add on pack brings a variety of new features to help develop with HTML 5 :

Code Hinting for HTML5 Tags
Improved CSS rendering in Live View
HTML 5 Starter layouts for new documents
Support for <video> and <audio> in Live View

Google Announces “Google TV”

As rumoured for a while, Google is venturing into the TV market.   They plan on embedding their Android platform into TVs and also providing set-top boxes.

The intention is to merge together the online web experience with regular TV viewing.

Announced at Google IO, they plan to release the product to market this Autumn.

Google are teaming up with both Sony and Intel to provide the hardware.  Both Paul Otellini (Intel CEO) and Howard Stringer (Sony CEO), pictured right, were involved in the Google announcement today.Google also have the backing of Adobe, bringing Flash to the platform for animation and gaming. .

Vic Gundotra (VP Engineering) snubbed Apple several times during the Google IO keynote by highlighting the integration work Google are doing with Adobe to bring Flash to the Android platform.
