Microsoft has announced that they’ll be releasing their free “Security Essentials” Antiv Virus and Anti Malware tool today:
Looks like this could be quite a good contender for AV protection, so we’ll be giving this a try as soon as it’s released and will let you know what we think.

Several gadget sites have now had hands on experience with the new Latitude Z laptop from Dell and it certainly sounds interesting.
Using induction charging and ultra wideband wireless, the laptop is completely cable free!
