So – the missing key presses?   If at first you don’t succeed – reboot.    Just rebooted and disabled the fingerprint scanner and all appears good again now!

It’s amazing what you can fix with a reboot – but that’s for another blog post..

OK, lets see what happens?  So far so good and no key presses have been lost?  The culprit?  You’re not going to believe it, but so far it’s pointing to the fingerprint scanner on the laptop!   Looks like a few others are having the same problem:

Hmm – maybe I spoke too soon?  Just had a couple of keys not register

Maybe it’s me?   Maybe it’s my keyboard?  I’ve noticed over the last few days that when I’m typing something into a web page, I keep getting missed key presses?   (3 in the las sentance – mke that 5 now!!)

I’m sure it’s not my keyboard (wireless) as it’s fine when working with other programs?

Some further investigation I think – if I find anything I’ll mention it back here.
