We now have the MozyPro (online backups by EMC) reseller account up and running and have a couple of servers and a desktop using it now – and looks good.
Personally I’ve used Mozy for a while now and found it very good.
Need to perform some test restores now of SQL and Exchange to see how well that works once the initial backups are completed.   If you’re interested – take a look around our site and see how we can manage a Mozy installation for you.
Spent some time today on the microsoft partners website.   Scotia Systems is a registered Microsoft Partner, so I thought I’d delve a little deeper into what this has to offer.
One of the biggest advantages has to be the Microsoft Action Pack (MAP).  This is a collection of software and licenses for partners to use within their own business. I guess it’s a way to get to know MS products before you install/sell to customers. Â
If you’re dealing with Microsoft products (selling or developing for) it’s well worth a look!
So – the missing key presses?  If at first you don’t succeed – reboot.   Just rebooted and disabled the fingerprint scanner and all appears good again now!
It’s amazing what you can fix with a reboot – but that’s for another blog post..
